Professor Pape appeared on Fox News’ “Happening Now.”
Donald Rumsfeld once proposed that the best metric of success was whether we were killing more terrorists than we were creating. By this metric, the War on Terror has been a failure. Suicide terrorism has increased more than ten-fold during the WoT, most of which has been directed against the U.S.

i happened to catch this interview on fox and i ‘bumped” into this article today….i have no reason to doubt robert pape at all…if there was or is a way to bring our troops back without appearing to be weak, we can try that tactic….if we leave and appear weak, it will only be a worse situation than we now have.
Wow, that was short! It seems Fox didn’t like what Dr. Pape said and quickly ended the interview.
