Andrew (AJ) Caughey was a Graduate Research Analyst on the Militant Propaganda Analysis team during the 2018-2019 academic year. AJ was a dual CIR-MPP student and graduated in 2020.  Andrew’s worked on the Vectors of Radicalization project which analyzes pathways to radicalization for foreign ISIS and Al-Shabab fighters. His personal research focuses on China’s ethnic minorities. Before joining CPOST, Andrew worked on International Visitor Leadership Program cultural exchanges in Washington, D.C.  He graduated from UC Berkeley with a major in English literature and a minor in China studies.
