Ángel Torres Guevara graduated from the MA in International Relations at the University of Chicago in the summer of 2022. His MA thesis explored the relationship between local security budgets and the presence of criminal organizations in Mexico. Ángel joined CPOST as a Research Assistant in the Fall of 2022 and he is committed to understanding and explaining the causes and consequences of political violence.
