Bryan Popoola is the Data Manager for the Program on Political Violence (PPV). Bryan joined CPOST in the summer of 2016 as a Data Collection Intern with the Suicide Attack Team and was promoted to Student Supervisor in the fall of that year. After graduating, he joined PPV as the Senior Research Analyst with Professor Staniland’s AOSA project, leading a team to research the diverse government-armed group relationships that exist in South Asia.
Bryan earned his BA in Economics and International Studies from the University of Chicago in 2017 and in the fall of 2019, he will begin his Masters in International Studies at SAIS at Johns Hopkins University. Outside of CPOST, Bryan is interested in economic development, world languages, and soccer.
