Khalefah Alghanim is a graduate student and research assistant at CPOST. After obtaining an undergraduate degree in political science and economics from Kuwait University in 2017, he worked in the private sector for a year before enrolling at the University of Chicago to receive a Master’s degree in political science. His research focuses on democratization, democratic backsliding, and regime dynamics within international alliances. Khalefah is currently a member of the Video Analysis Team at CPOST and assists in analyzing militant propaganda from several different militant networks. He expects to graduate in the summer of 2019.
