Rachel Isaman is a Master’s candidate in the Center for Middle Eastern Studies and joined in winter quarter of 2018 as a data intern. In the summer of 2018, Rachel moved to the Minerva Team and is currently a supervisor for the Vectors of Radicalization project. Prior to coming to the University of Chicago, Rachel obtained her bachelor's degree in history at the University of California, Berkeley. She is primarily interested in security in conflict zones in the Middle East, particularly as it relates to cultural heritage protection. Rachel will graduate in the Spring of 2019.
