Walker J. Gunning is the former executive director of CPOST. He was previously the associate editor at Al-Monitor.com. Walker is now a PhD student in the University of Chicago's department of political science. He also holds a MA and BA in Near Eastern Studies from NYU. He is a 2017 Truman National Security Project Fellow and the Chicago chapter co-director.
