Bettina Hammer is an undergraduate research associate and 4th year undergraduate at the University of Chicago. Bettina joined CPOST in the fall of 2017 as a member of the Militant Propaganda Analysis Team. Since then, she has worked on a variety of projects investigating patterns of martyrdom, recruitment and mobilization for groups including Jabhat al-Nusra and the Afghan Taliban. She currently co-leads CPOST's Minerva Team. Bettina expects to graduate in June 2020 with a BA in sociology.
